Hiking the Bigge-Lister trail
The hiking trail leads along the lake and through demanding high ridges showcasing the region’s breathtaking landscapes. A special tip for winter hikers is the Sauerland Höhenflug winter hike near Attendorn – this delightful route starts in Windhausen by Attendorn.
Biggeblick vantage point
A forest treetop walk takes you to this stunning view of Lake Biggesee with the Gilberg Island and the ruins of Waldenburg castle ruins poking up above the seemingly endless forests of the Sauerland region.
What could be more fun than a boat trip?
Set sail on the White Fleet excursion boats from mid-April to mid-October and enjoy breath-taking views from the sun deck or in the salons. Ahoy!
