Short, accessible paths wind through the medieval town centre of Attendorn. Visit the Sauerland Cathedral or the Southern Sauerland Museum of Art and Cultural History of the District of Olpe. You should definitely visit the Schnellenberg hilltop castle as well. It is among the largest preserved castles in the region and is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Sauerland.
